(SACD-HYBRID) This album attempts to blend aspects of folk-rock with the elements of Karnatak music. Multi-instrumentalist David Hidalgo of Los Lobos performs on bajo sexto and accordion while Martin Simpson plays steel and acoustic guitars to which Viji Krishnan's violin and Puvalur Srinivasan's mridangam add a distinct Karnatak hue.
